David Stackpool

David was the first attorney to set up a private practice in Stowe, a State’s attorney for Lamoille County, a trustee of the Village of Stowe, and a moderator of Stowe Town Meeting for many years. He provided unending support for his family, stewardship of the land, and lifelong dedication to his community. However, David is perhaps best remembered for his infamous sense of humor.
